Morning sightseeing of New Delhi.
Visit the Lotus Temple, also called Bahai Temple
(closed on Monday).This distinctive lotus shaped marvel in marble
is surrounded by a landscaped garden and is a symbol of peace.
Similar in 2 style to the Sydney opera house is this white marble
and concrete structure in the shape of a lotus flower.
This is the Asian headquarters of the Bahai faith, India Gate.
(war memorial dedicated to the Indian soldiers)
Pas thru the president's residence - formerly the Viceroy's Palace,
Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings.
(interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture)
Vsit to the Raj Ghat, set in the midst of deep green lawns, Rajghat
is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.
A memorial to the father of the nation, Rajghat, a square platform
with a black memorial stone with "Hey Ram" inscribed on it.
In the afternoon transfer to Jaipur.(260 km – 5.5 hours drive)

Jaipur

In the morning, visit to the Amber Fort and enjoy elephant ride also.
Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani fort Palace.
The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the Fort may not look beautiful
from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted
on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals.
Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster.
Among attractions at Amber is the Elephant Ride up to the Fort entrance.
This journey on caparisoned elephants is bound to enrich your memories
with the Royal lifestyle of the Maharajas, a truly unforgettable experience.
Route to the Amber Fort - photo stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds.
In the afternoon city tour begins with a visit to the Maharaja's City Palace,
the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum.
A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur.
in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh
in area of the city. One of the main attractions in the museum is the portion
known as Armoury Museum housing impressive array of weaponry-pistols,
blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers.
The royal families of Jaipur once used most of these weapons.
Visit to the Jantar Mantar.
The Jantar Mantar, a collection of 19 astronomical instruments built
by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The monument completed in 1734, features the world's largest stone sundial,
(UNESCO Heritage) located near the City Palace and the Hawa Mahal.

Jaipur - Agra

Departure for Agra. (235 km – about 05 hours drive)
En route visiting Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar in 1569
and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water.
Visit the remarkably well-preserved, graceful buildings - "the 'Ghost City"
including the Panch Mahal Palace and other palaces.
The grandeur and splendor of the Mughal empire at the top of its power.

Agra
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour with guide.
Visit to the world famous Taj Mahal (One of the Seven Wonders of the World)
built by Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.
This architectural marvel is a well proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble
testimony to the still of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France, Italy,
17 years to complete this 'Love Poem in Marble'. Following, visit to the Agra fort
(the halls of private and public audience and other palaces)

Agra - Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho

In the morning transfer to New Delhi Railway Station
Departure by the Superfast Express Train – Shatabdi to Jhansi.
Arrival at Jhansi station. Visit close by famous Orchha Temples.
The Ram Raja Temple, also known as Orchha Temple, holds religious importance
as it is the only temple in India where Lord Rama is worshipped as King Rama.
Built in the 16th century, the temple is a popular monument in the Orchha Fort
among Hindus. It's believed, to be used as citadel in the kingdom of Madhukar Shah.
He changed it to Rama Temple. Departure for Khajuraho (170 km – 3.5 hour drive)

Khajuraho

In the morning, visit to the World famous Temples of Khajuraho
well known as Kamasutra Temples - UNESCO World Heritage.
Khajuraho located in Madhya Pradesh, is known around the world
for its stunning temples adorned by erotic and sensuous carvings.
A brilliant example of Indian architecture and middle-aged culture.
In these Hindu and Jain temples are depicted the erotic forms of love,
the carvings on show the walls show sensual and aesthetic passion.
In the evening, a "Light and Sound Show" event scheduled.

Khajuraho - Varanasi
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport to board the flight for Varanasi.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Accomodation and overnight stay.
An evening event, it's sheduled - the Aarti Ceremony
on the Ganges River Ghat (banks).
This Ganga aarti is the most mesmerizing experience
in Varanasi. The daily ritual of worship of the River Goddess
is held at dawn and dusk (truly spectacular at dusk).

Varanasi - Sarnath - Delhi - Departure

Varanasi is considered as the holiest of Hindu cities - Northern State
it is as old as civilization and the Holy River Ganges,
is worshipped as a Mother Goddess in India flows through the city.
Varanasi is probably one of the most ancient living cities in India, a
great religious center for Hindus and one of their most sacred places
of pilgrimage, being visited by millions of people every year.
Walking through the lanes of Varanasi and in every nook and corner
come across temples, sacred shrines.
In the early morning - boat ride on River Ganges.
Later on visit to Sarnath - 13 km from the holy city of Varanasi.
It is one of the four main Buddhist pilgrimage destinations.
Buddhists from India and abroad - Thailand and so on.
The impressive Dhameka Stupa is extremely popular among tourists.
Late afternoon / evening transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi
On arrival at Delhi, board the connecting International flights.
